John Grumitt

John is a seasoned healthcare advocate, CEO and non executive director.

He cofounded the Changing Health in 2014 where he was CEO until December 2019 and for whom he is now a strategic advisor as well as an investor of the country’s largest digital health behaviour change platform. He is also chair of the iDEAL Diabetes Group, trustee of C3 Collaborating for Health and also holds a number of non exec. and advisory positions to commercial healthcare businesses in the UK and Europe.

John has served as vice president of the International Diabetes Federation and has been a trustee and vice chair of Diabetes UK where he remains ambassador. He has advised NHS England and Public Health England for many years, driving the development and adoption of new models of care and wider innovation.

Having built a number of high profile consumer centred businesses across Europe, including the Carphone Warehouse and GSK, John turned his attention to addressing the massive unmet needs of people living with and at risk of chronic conditions. He chaired Platform Heath, whose global health data interoperability standard, H.860, was approved by the United Nations’ ITU in 2014.

John is a fellow of the ICAEW and attended Wharton Business School.
